How to handle arbitrary surface geometry in Classic and AEDT Icepak
For most of the Icepak models, the boundaries (walls, openings, sources, plates etc.) are of a primitive shape (such as rectangular, polygon and circular) or may be simplified to those shapes. However, at times user may have different surface shapes such as a semi circle or an arbitrary geometry, where user cannot simply use these primitive shapes in Classic Icepak. This limitation is not present in AEDT Icepak, as CAD objects and their individual faces are selectable in AEDT Icepak. The following video demonstrates how to handle arbitrary surface shapes in Classic and AEDT Icepak.

In another scenario, we may have a thermal problem where both internal and external flow zones are present. An easy workflow is described in the video below for this purpose.
